Ville venete

This route takes you on a unique adventure, through the doors of beautiful villas and their unique stories. Veneto villas are known worldwide for their unique and exceptional architecture. Some of them are famous for the precious frescoes that lie within them, for example Villa Baglioni in Massanzago is frescoed by famous painter Gianbattista Tiepolo. Other villas are known for the fantastic historic gardens that surround them, such as Villa Ca’ Marcello. This itinerary also takes you on a tour of lesser-known villas that must not be missed, including Villa Rana, built in the 16th century and now used as Loreggia town hall. Finally, the area has no shortage of fine examples of Palladian architecture, including Villa Cornaro and Villa Emo in Fanzolo di Vedelago. These two structures celebrate the creative mastery of the eminent architect and reveal his preference for simplicity, monumentality and versatility.
