Agriturismo Ai Peschi

The Agriturismo (Farmhouse) Ai Peschi is in Fratte, a fraction of Santa Giustina in Colle. Ai Peschi covers an area of 6 hectares, one of which is a parkland area crossed by the river Rio Orcone, while the remaining 5 hectares are dedicated to growing traditional fruits and vegetables. There is also a 17th century building that was restored in 2003 and converted into a restaurant and accommodation. The restaurant is perfect to celebrate those events that make life special and unique, to spend an entertaining evening with the family, to enjoy a date or a business lunch or dinner. Our cooking style is simple but thoughtful and meticulous, in keeping with local traditions that have been handed down from one generation to the next for centuries: frugal cooking that developed to relish the few products available. All our dishes are rigorously prepared with organic and zero-kilometre ingredients, accenting the original flavours of traditional regional cuisine. You can enjoy first courses of handmade fresh pasta with vegetable sauces made with our garden’s ingredients and meat sauces made with our farm’s produce. You can also enjoy risotto with seasonal fruit and vegetables such as peach, pear and cheese, and pumpkin and mushroom risotto. We also offer typical local ‘pasticci’, which we prepare to cater to different needs: in addition to using freshly ground meat, we also prepare vegetable-only ‘pasticci’ such as pumpkin and radicchio for our vegetarian guests .Our second courses include tasty grilled meat dishes, sliced beef fillet and seasonal vegetable rolls; side dishes are always prepared with fresh vegetables from our garden. Our desserts, including our exceptional peach jam pie, are all handmade. We also sell our jams in our local shop. The restaurant includes halls of different sizes, which always allows our guests to find a perfect spot to eat whether enjoying a group dinner or a quiet family meal. As is often the case, cooking excellence depends on the quality and quantity of available ingredients: for this reason, we chose to guarantee the quality of our produce by practicing organic and zero kilometre farming.
